Summer is Really Here!
It has been hot I know.
But
It is never too hot to be knitting or crocheting! Small projects are the key.
Such as Socks.....
See! Brenda is knitting socks with the Indian Spices sock yarn that The Sweet Sheep dyed for our Knit in Public day celebration!
You could take the summer to knit something that requires meditative concentration but is very light weight! Lace! Yes Lace...

Oh, by the way, there are still 3 skeins in the shop! I still am planning on doing a shawl with mine like Marion is....oops....forgot to take a photo.... But here is the yarn!
Make Summer the time to get started on your Christmas knitting and crocheting! Socks, mittens, hats and scarves are all small projects that will not make you hot on the beach.
Yes! The beach!
I was knitting just prior to and just after taking this photo! I love to knit on the beach! You could take the summer to knit something that requires meditative concentration but is very light weight! Lace! Yes Lace...
Come into the shop and see the Queen Anne's Lace Patterns and the lace weight yarns. There is sure to be something that you'll want to knit!
I am off to the cottage this weekend and I am bringing 2 projects with me. One is a modification to the Striation Shawl....with cables! The other is the Mint t-shirt. I will share my progress when I return!
Keep cool and keep crafting!!
